Induslnd Bank Aadhaar Update
As per the revisions introduced in the Prevention of Money Laundering (Maintenance of Records) Second Amendment Rules, 2017, it is mandatory for all accounts to be linked with Aadhaar and authenticated using biometric or Yes-No verification.
To streamline the process of Aadhaar seeding and authentication for our customers, our bank has introduced a secure web page. This platform enables customers to link their Aadhaar to accounts or authenticate already linked accounts from the comfort of their homes. It’s important to note that this seeding/authentication process is OTP-based, and only customers with updated mobile numbers in both their bank accounts and Aadhaar database can utilize this service.

Please be aware that individual and sole proprietorship accounts can be linked online. For partnership and company accounts, please submit the Aadhaar linking request at the nearest branch.
Steps For Induslnd Bank Aadhaar Update
Step 1: Enter your valid account number and Aadhaar number, then click the “Continue” button. You will receive an OTP (One Time Password) on your registered mobile.
Step 2: Input the OTP and captcha, then click the “Validate” button. Once the OTP is verified, you will be redirected to another page prompting for your Aadhaar number.
Step 3: Enter your Aadhaar number and click the “Continue” button. You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile from UAIDI. Enter the received OTP from UAIDI and validate it by clicking on the “Validate” button. Upon successful validation, your personal details will be displayed.
IndusInd Bank Aadhaar Seeding via Internet Banking
To employ this method for linking your Aadhaar with your IndusInd Bank Account, it is crucial to have the IndusInd Internet Banking Service activated. Without this service, you will be unable to proceed with the Aadhaar Seeding process through Net Banking. If you haven’t activated Internet Banking and wish to link your Aadhaar via this method, you can initiate the process by visiting the official website of IndusInd Bank and completing the registration for Internet Banking.
Once your IndusInd Internet Banking Account is logged in using your User ID and Password:
- Navigate to the Customer Services tab.
- Under Customer Services, locate the “Update Aadhaar Number” option.
- Click on “Update Aadhaar Number” and enter your 12-digit Aadhaar Number. Click the submit button.
Your Aadhaar Seeding will undergo verification by the bank, and upon approval, it will be successfully linked to your IndusInd Bank Account.
Induslnd Bank Aadhaar Update Offline
Before initiating the Aadhaar Card linking process with your Indusind bank account, ensure you have the necessary documents ready. These include an original and photocopy of your Aadhaar Card, your Indusind passbook, and the Aadhaar Card linking form available for download from the Indusind website or obtainable from an Indusind Branch.
Next, fill in the required information on the form, including the name and address of your branch, your Indusind account number, your name and address as per the Aadhaar Card, and your Aadhaar Number or Aadhar UID number. Attach a photocopy of your Aadhaar Card to the form. Once you’ve completed entering the necessary details, visit your bank branch to submit the application to a representative or official.
The bank will verify the details provided, accepting the original Aadhaar Card along with a photocopy. The verification process involves cross-checking the information with the Aadhaar database. If the details match, the processing of your application will commence. Upon completion, you will receive a notification from the bank on your registered mobile number, confirming the successful linking of your Aadhaar Card to your Indusind account.
How to Check IndusInd Bank Aadhaar link Status
To confirm or inquire about the status of your IndusInd Bank Aadhaar linking, please visit the IndusInd “Check Your Aadhaar Seeding Status” page by clicking here.
On the “Check Your Aadhaar Seeding Status” page, input your 12-digit Aadhaar Number and click the submit button.
The subsequent screen will display the status, indicating whether your Aadhaar is linked with your IndusInd Bank account or not.
Instructions for Aadhaar Card Link to your IndusInd Bank Savings Account through SMS
In addition to the web and offline options, IndusInd Bank customers can also link their Aadhaar card to their savings account through SMS.
To initiate the linking via SMS, customers need to have their mobile number registered with IndusInd Bank. Next, customers should send an SMS with their information in the following format – AADHAAR 15 digit bank account number 12 digit Aadhaar number. The message should be sent to 56161.
Upon successful linking of the Aadhaar card to the savings account, customers will receive a confirmation message.
Induslnd Bank Aadhaar Update By ATM Card
Follow Step For Aadhaar Update By ATM Card:
- Visit the nearest ATM.
- Insert your IndusInd Bank debit card.
- Select “update Aadhaar card” from the service options.
- Enter your Aadhaar card number.
- Re-enter your Aadhaar card number.
- Click on “verify.”
- After clicking, the bank will send you a confirmation SMS that your Aadhaar card has been linked to your IndusInd Bank savings account.
For IndusInd Bank customers yet to link their Aadhaar card to their savings account, they can choose any of the methods mentioned above (online, offline, at an ATM, or via SMS) to complete the process. Upon successfully connecting your 12-digit Aadhaar number to your savings account, you will receive a confirmation notification.
